What’s been filming in England? April – June 2026

Some huge film and TV productions are filming across the UK, with The Batman II in the works in Liverpool and new Michael Fassbender drama Kennedy shooting in multiple regions. Read on to discover what’s been filming in England, outside of London.
North West
The Batman Part II – DC
Where? Liverpool
Matt Reeves is back with The Batman II, which has been shooting in Liverpool from June this year. Robert Pattinson will return as Bruce Wayne/Batman, with Colin Farrell as The Penguin and Sebastian Stan as Two-Face.
Kennedy – Netflix
Where? Liverpool
Michael Fassbender stars as Joseph Kennedy Sr. in upcomoning Netflix drama Kennedy, which has been taking Liverpool back to the 1930’s during filming this April.
The Woods – Netflix
Where? Manchester city centre, Le Mans Crescent in Bolton, Bury, Trafford and Stockport
The next of Harlen Coben’s nail-biting thrillers being adapted is The Woods. The cast includes Tom Bateman, Michelle Keegan, Mandeep Dhillion and Pearce Quigley, with filming taking place across Manchester and Greater Manchester.
The Bay Season 6 – ITV and Tall Story Pictures
Where? Morecambe, Lancashire and Greater Manchester
Set and filmed in Morecambe in Lancashire, the Bay is an ITV crime drama which is currently filming its 6th season in the North West.
South West
Mavis Ecclestone – ITV
Where? The Bottle Yard Studios and Bristol
This new real life drama follows the story of a woman who survived a joint suicide pact with her husband and was then arrested and charged with his murder. The four-part drama will star Penelope Wilton and Jonathan Pryce in the leading roles.
Am I Being Unreasonable? Season 3 – BBC
Daisy May Cooper has been back filming comedy-thriller Am I Being Unreasonable?, with production taking place at The Bottle Yard Studios, Bristol, Gloucestershire and other West Country locations.
South East & East
The Dream Lands – BBC
Where? Margate, Kent
Film crews have been in Margate filming a new dystopian drama based on Rosa Rankin-Gee’s novel Dreamland.
Kennedy – Netflix
Where? Bedgebury Manor and Historic Chatham Dockyard, Kent
As well as in the North West, new Netflix drama Kennedy has been filming in Kent.
