We are funded by the BFI to offer comprehensive support to feature film and high-end TV productions looking to film in England outside of London – to access our bespoke production liaison service, simply contact our team with details of your feature or HETV project.
For all other productions, you can submit your enquiry to local authorities across England using our filming enquiry system, Film Here.
Film Here is our industry-standard filming enquiry system, purpose built to simplify and standardise the process of gaining filming permissions for both productions and for local authorities (for information on applying to film offices, please see below). Film Here is designed to save you time and make sure your enquiry is in the best possible shape to be actioned by local authorities across England.
Please have key documentation such as public liability insurance & risk assessments ready to upload where possible.
To submit your enquiry or application via Film Here, you’ll need to be registered on our database.
We work with local film offices across the country to ensure a joined up service and high quality of filming liaison support throughout the regions. If you are planning to shoot in a district, county or region with its own dedicated film office, filming must be organised directly with that organisation. In many cases there will be a formal permit required for any kind of filming in these areas.
