Established in 2006 on the site of a former military factory, Longcross Film Studios promotes flexibility, allowing producers and directors to modify stages and facilities to meet their needs. In addition to the 4 main stages, Longcross offers sizeable workshops, considerable office space and excellent canteen facilities. Boasting an impressive 200-acre backlot, features of the site include a slip pad, 550ft in diameter, for the creation of large sets, and a small 9-hole golf course.
