Maldon is a very small rural coastal district council, located in a picturesque part of Essex on the Blackwater estuary. Maldon has a reputation for film friendliness among Location Managers and is only 40 miles from London. An ancient Essex town which features the historic maritime towns of Maldon and Burnham-on-Crouch, rural villages, a collection of vineyards and a beautiful, yet remote coastline that surrounds the Dengie Peninsula.
