Celebrating 3 years of uniting the film and TV industry
At Filming in England, one of our key ambitions is to make spaces for film and TV crew of all backgrounds and experience levels to come together in. Thats why in 2023, we re-vamped our crew nights to bigger and better Filming in England Connect: Industry Mixers, inviting not just crew but supply chain businesses and supporting local partners to join these free networking events.
Since then, we’ve run 13 sell-out Industry Mixers in unique venues across England. In celebration of this, we’ve listed some highlights and favourite snaps so far!
We’ve visited 12 unique venues
From our first Filming in England Connect event at Bristol Dockyards (formerly S.S. Great Britain) through to the one and only Pinewood Studios, we’re lucky to have secured some of the most exciting spaces across the regions for our Industry Mixers. Over the past three years, we’ve run events in: The Bond, Shinfield Studios, Imperial War Museum North, Sky Studios Elstree, Harbour Hotels, Hot House, Bristol Cathedral, Digbeth Loc. Studios and ABC Buildings.

We’ve connected over 3,000 film and TV professionals
Film and TV can be a difficult industry to navigate; that’s why our Industry Mixers are uniquely placed to create a safe space for industry conversations to take place. We’re delighted that a wide range of crew from differing experience levels attend our events to hear from our inspiring speakers, find new opportunities and connect with likeminded individuals.
